When you access our website, information of a general nature will be automatically collected via a cookie. The server log files thus generated contain information such as type of web browser, operating system used, domain name of your Internet service provider and similar. None of this data enables us to discover any information regarding your person.
Such information is technically necessary in order to enable you to access website contents correctly and is integral to use of the Internet. This data is processed for the following purposes in particular.
Like many other websites, we make use of so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files which are saved to your hard disk by a website server. If you use e-mail or our contact form to get in touch with us regarding enquiries of any nature, you provide us with voluntary consent to process data for the purpose of establishment of contact. The provision of a valid e-mail address is necessary in this regard. This information will be used to identify the source of the enquiry and provide a subsequent response. Provision of further data is optional. The information you provide will be used for the purpose of processing the enquiry and any possible follow-up questions. Personal data will be automatically deleted once the enquiry you have submitted has been dealt with.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis to be conducted of your use of the website. The information which the cookie generates on your use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. Because IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will previously be truncated by Google within the area of member states of the European Union or of other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases only, the full IP address will be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will act on behalf of the operator of this website by deploying this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile activity reports for the website operator and to provide the website operator with further services related to use of the website and use of the Internet. The IP-address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be linked with any other data held by Google.
The purposes of the data processing are evaluation of use of the website and the compilation of reports on activities on the website. The intention is the provision of further associated services on the basis of use of the website and use of the Internet. Processing is based on the legitimate interests of the website operator.
Although you may block the storage of cookies by using the relevant settings in your browser software, we wish to point out that you may not be able to take advantage of the full range of all functions on this website if you do so. Users may also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and of data relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and prevent the dissemination of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: Browser Add On zur Deaktivierung von Google Analytics.
In addition to or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our website by clicking on this link. This process installs an opt-out cookie on your device. Collection of data via Google Analytics for this website and for this browser will be blocked in future as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
This website uses Matomo (formerly known as Piwik), an open source software for the statistical evaluation of the number of visitors to the site. Matomo uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis to be conducted of your use of the website.
The information on your use of the Internet provision generated via the cookie is stored on a server in Strasbourg, France.
IP addresses are anonymised immediately after processing and prior to storage. You can prevent the installation of cookies by amending the settings of your browser software. We wish to point out that not all functions offered by this website may be available if you adjust your browser settings in this way.
You are able to decide whether a distinct web analysis cookie may be created in your browser in order to enable the operator of the website to collect and analyse various statistical data.
This website uses Google Maps API in order to present geographical information in a visual form. Where Google Maps is deployed, Google also collects, processes and makes use of data on the use of the map function by visitors. More detailed information on data processing by Google is available in the Google Privacy Policy. You can also amend your personal data protection settings in the Google Data Protection Centre.
Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products is available here.
We embed YouTube videos on some of our pages. The operator of the relevant plug-in is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page containing the YouTube plug-in, a connection with YouTube servers will be established. This notifies YouTube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube will be able to match your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video starts, the provider deploys cookies to collect indications of user behaviour.
If you have deactivated cookies for the Google Ad Programme, no such cookies will be created when you watch YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal user information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you will need to deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser.
Further information regarding data protection on YouTube is available in the provider’s data protection statement at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrive at our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. This Conversion Tracking cookie is created if a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies cease to be valid after 30 days and do not serve the purpose of personal identification. If a user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google are able to recognise that the user has clicked on the advertisement and has been forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can thus not be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The purpose of the information obtained via Conversion Cookies is to develop conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisement and have been forwarded to a site with a Conversion Tracking tag. They do not, however, receive any information which enables them to identify users personally.
If you do not wish to take part in tracking, you may refuse placement of the cookie that is required. This can be achieved by adjusting your browser settings so as to generally deactivate the automatic placement of cookies or by amending your browser settings so that cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com” are blocked.
Please note that you will not be able to maintain records of your measurement data if you delete the cookies using the opt-out function. You will need to reset the opt-out cookie if you delete all the cookies in your browser.
We store access data as described above for a period of one month. Data from Google Analytics are stored for a period of 14 months in order to enable us to undertake annual evaluations of visits to our homepage.
We reserve the right to amend the present data protection statement in order to ensure that it is in compliance with the latest legal requirements at all times or for the purpose of implementation of services into the data protection statement, such as when new services are introduced. The new data protection statement will subsequently apply when you revisit the website.
