Your tasks
- Generating sales of flexible packaging solutions in the retail market by acquiring new clients
- Supporting and expanding the product ranges within existing and new customers
- Identifying new business opportunities within the retail market, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, or new products and services
- Creating sales forecasts and strategies and actively working towards achieving them
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
- Assisting the Key Account Directors and Sales Managers in all aspects of account management
- Day by day office presence in Stevenage required
Your profile
- Proven track record in account management or developing and maintaining new business in B2B, preferably with a background in packaging but also from competitive, high repeat consumable products or services
- Comfortable working with targets and KPIs
- Good communication skills and the ability to adapt to different situations
- The ability to listen and interpret customer requirements
- A resilient self-starter with a focus on results
- Comfortable presenting and negotiating at all levels, from shopfloor to boardroom
- An understanding of the manufacturing process would be an advantage
- An enquiring and analytical approach to problem-solving
