My varied and exciting responsibilities:

I’m in charge of my own section within the internal sales team and make sure everything runs smoothly: from internal order processing to on-time delivery, I keep a close eye on all the processes.
I particularly enjoy working with international corporate clients. No two days are the same here. My organisational skills come in handy, as I always keep track of things even when dealing with more complex requirements. What do I love about my job? That I can see the direct impact of my work every day – namely, satisfied customers. And that’s exactly what drives me.

My opportunities for development:

My area of responsibility has grown over the years and today I manage major key accounts independently. Through communication with international customers and internal language courses, I have significantly improved my English language skills. In the internal sales team, I have the opportunity to actively contribute to process improvements and support exciting customer projects. At Papier-Mettler, employee development is supported on an individual basis – tailored to strengths, interests and potential. And it is supported by targeted staff development.

My varied and exciting responsibilities:

I’ve been fascinated by chemistry ever since my school days. So it’s fitting that my current role involves analysing and quality-checking various types of packaging manufactured by the company. Through precise testing, I ensure that all specifications meet legal requirements and that our quality standards are fully adhered to. This job is particularly important when it comes to products that come into contact with food, as compliance with standards must be strictly monitored.
Every day brings something new. My day-to-day work is very varied and offers plenty of opportunities to put my strengths to good use. Thanks to the excellent working atmosphere, even complex tasks are resolved quickly and effectively through collaboration between the various departments and short decision-making processes. The chemistry is just right!

My development opportunities:

I consider it a great privilege that my role is so varied and challenging. I have found the ideal place here to fulfil my professional potential. I want to shape my long-term future within this company and actively contribute to making upcoming projects a success.
In doing so, ever-changing test procedures and measurement methods not only offer variety but also allow me to expand my knowledge in the areas of fault analysis, root cause analysis and process monitoring. This makes me the perfect link between production and management.

My varied and exciting role:

As a press operator in the printing department, my role is very varied: working on modern printing presses requires a good understanding of processes, materials and quality – and this is exactly where I can put my knowledge to excellent use. Working on the printing press is a demanding job, in which I take on a great deal of responsibility for ensuring everything runs smoothly. I really appreciate the working environment here, so I feel completely at home at Papier-Mettler and am looking forward to putting down roots here for the long term – in a constantly growing company that has so much to offer.

My development opportunities:

I have the chance to familiarise myself more closely with areas such as machine optimisation, fault analysis and maintenance, which allows me to work not only more confidently but also more efficiently. At the same time, there are opportunities to take on more responsibility, for example as a shift supervisor or in training new colleagues.
I also see opportunities for further training to expand my remit and play an active role in the further development of production. For me, development means not just promotion, but also learning something new every day and improving my contribution to the company’s success.

My varied and exciting responsibilities:

As an electrician at Papier-Mettler, I have a wide range of varied and exciting responsibilities. These range from working on electrical engineering projects to maintaining the on-site equipment. Even during my apprenticeship at PM, I got to know the entire production process and all manufacturing stages, from raw materials right through to the finished carrier bag. This allowed me to discover where my strengths and interests lie. Thanks to the size of the company and the well-structured training programme, I was able to work in all departments and get to know every machine.
The role of an electronics technician demands a deep technical understanding as well as precision in practical work.

My development opportunities:

I have not only learnt to work with and operate invisible systems, but also to develop a deep understanding of them, which enables me to keep everything running smoothly. From precise fault diagnosis to troubleshooting, I learnt everything at Papier-Mettler. My logical thinking and understanding of the systems are constantly being developed, even though every day presents new challenges.

Papier-Mettler offers numerous opportunities for development. With my ever-growing knowledge, I would like to be able to take on larger, new tasks. For example, in the field of automation technology, with a view to taking on more responsibility in the future.

My varied and exciting responsibilities:

Since joining Papier-Mettler, I have been responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery as a machine operator. My role is extremely wide-ranging, covering everything from the precise set-up of new orders and the continuous quality assurance of our paper bags to the independent troubleshooting of faults. This demanding role requires a high degree of responsibility and technical understanding to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
As my tasks are very demanding, I was initially daunted by the challenge. However, with ambition and a firm determination to get to grips with the job, my doubts quickly vanished. It fills me with pride how quickly I have integrated into this dynamic environment. I’ve now settled into a routine, without it ever becoming boring.

My development opportunities:

My day-to-day work not only gives me a technical understanding of plant and production processes, but also a keen sense of quality, efficiency and problem-solving.
The constant new challenges and the varied nature of my tasks reinforce my desire to contribute to the company’s long-term success and to experience and actively make use of the diverse development opportunities within an expanding business.
